Bomb-blast radius not only 'killing' you.

If a XXXXlb bomb hits near your GV from X distance, it kills you. If that same bomb hits X distance further away, it flips your tank....


Would be nice so when I drop a 500 lb bomb 100 away from a Pnzr, something actually happens.

500 lb could probably flip PzVI if exploded within 5 meters or ever closer. There is no way it can do any damage from 100 neither meters nor feet.

Depends on which tank you are looking. I read about light soviet tank T-70 was flipped by 50 or 100 kg bomd exploded in less than 1 meter away. May be 250kg can flip medium tank, may be not, but I think its possible.

If a 50kg bomb can kill VC's tiger, I think a 500lb bomb can flip a tank.

Jtty, that size bomb cant flip a pnzrkfwVI... seeing as how it's a TIGER....all i gotta say is --> , but ur right, ive seen pics of upsidedown tanks, but they are rare, u gotta get lucky for that...i'd like bomb shrapnel damaging a tank, but just my opinion... (can 500lbs of explosive flip a 40ton tank??? btw thats alot of weight..->80,000lbs exactly...) or is a tiger 40tons?

Well, I'd also like the concussive force from it being able to wound crewmen. I doubt that the force from a bomb that big dropped so close to you wouldn't hurt you in some way.

Shrapnel can cut through armor if it big enuf, that would hurt a tanker

It'd surely throw the driver off. Maybe simulate it as a pilot wound of sorts...you recover from it, but you go through a "slow-mo" stage, then maybe a stage where you are blacked out, and soon regain full control.

I think that bombs DO need to do somemore damage instead of "Oh, you got it right on 'em, they're dead" I'd like to see a bomb 2 meters away slicing off it's pintle MG cause of shrapnel ripping throu... I'll quit while I'm ahead...

I'd like to see PW in tanks if you shoot the drivers viewport.
There is a pilot wound in the damage list so is it possible or not?
I think I recall at some stage you could drive inside an enemy tank and kill the driver, I don't know if you can do it anymore.
