Does anyone have a full understanding of the factories/HQs rebuilding scheme with the new strat system? We were playing around with it last night and bascially, everything rebuilds as soon as a train gets to it...which is about every 5 minutes. If you take down the train station supplying the factory, it stays down longer. But...to do this you have to flatten EVERY structure at the station. And of course, you can't just do this in the historical bombing style, flying a few buffs overhead and dropping massive amounts of explosives in straight lines. This requires you to take a buff with 20 eggs and fly around in orbits dropping each one with laser guided precision.

Now, I'm not complaining that factories are too tough to weaken. But, it would be nice if targets could be bombed and destroyed like they were historically. Destroying over 75% of a train station should make it useless.

The trains/resupply things needs to be looked at asap.I straffed a train (in my B17) and killed it,but to my shock and horror it re-spawned right away right where I killed the bloody thing!!!! one hell of a choo choo that!  :rolleyes:

Yep Joc, we played with that too. When you strafe a train, you have to meticulously separate all the cars from the engine. But, be careful...if you also kill the engine, the whole things instantly respawns right where you killed it. I'd just like to see the inner workings and timings on all this stuff so we have a better understanding of it.
