Michelle Obama's speech sounded like one of those beauty contestants' "cure world hunger in our lifetime" speeches.  Sounded a bit phoney to me.  She is smart and well dressed tho.

Back on topic... the real test of the media is NOT how much coverage the Obama campaign is getting now during the Dem National Convention - of course he's going to get coverage now.

The question is how much coverage he's going to get during the REPUBLICAN convention.  If he's all over the news then, then you can make the claim that the press wants him elected.

Oh.. I don't think there is enough room on anyones computer to list all the things liberal democrats fear...  they pretty much fear everything and are constantly on the lookout for new and ever more dire things to fear...

Why.. the destruction of the very planet is not too much for them to get their fear wrapped around...   No crisis is too minor or tooooo major for them to not demand that government do something about it.

The manipulation by the media is getting so blatant that it will start to anger and disgust most reasonable people.

I think you're giving the regular joe a little too much credit.  The list of reasonable people who think for themselves is growing shorter by the day.

As for the Obama blitz in the media, I see his name three times alone on the first page of the o'club.

it almost appears as though the press in general want him elected. everywhere i turn, i see a picture of him, or hear his name, or read his name.

 most people are stupid. what'll happen, is that they'll walk into the voting booths, and see the name that they've seen most, and choose that name.  if the newspapers, media, and intardnet continue pummeling us with his name, i think it's a safe bet that he'll be our next president.

 today in my local paper, the front page is an article telling us how much his wife loves this country.......when i open my yahell mail, there's ALWAYS SOMETHING abut him there. same with my aohell mail. it's actually fairly annoying.

I don't agree. If most people were stupid, Obama's lead would be larger.  I saw a poll somewhere that 70% of those asked felt the coverage was biased for Obama. Now I do agree the old media THINKS most people are stupid. This is going to bite them in the butt. Most people don't like to be treated as stupid.

i might have been better off to have phrased that differently.

the point i was trying to get at though, was that if they keep planting his name up there in front of everyone, then when they go into the voting booth, they're going to pick the most familiar name first. that will unfortunatly be osama, if the media continues this blitz.
