For historical prospectives at least these two aircraft, the P-40 and P-47 were ferried by CV throughout the Pacific and Mediterranian, take the American invasion of North Africa "Operation Torch" for example. As the film link above shows the practical application of a shipboard catapault was used to make these operations a success. So hold off on the short sightedness, because its already been done. Besides what difference does it make if they launch from a carrier in the MA? Also, I didn't mention anything about adding more planes to the game. That was not the subject or intention of this post. 
Wouldn't you really like to have a true Doolittle Raid in a SNAPSHOT or for a Squad night OP?  

BTW, the P-39 has been enabled  from the CVs recently because. WHY?  A couple of months ago JU88's were enabled from CVs in the AvA arena.
