I've heard(read?

) in posts on this board about the planned implementation of force feedback. I was wondering, if a) Is this true? and b) how far down the road is it?

I thought that was one of the great things about "That other" sim, that i could "feel" a stall coming on.. and getting used to not having that feeling has been extremely difficult for me. Does anyone else feel the same way?

ok tell my aname of stick whta haz perfect
force Fx in direct X mode and not looks like a SciFi space ship stick soemthing what remind airplane
hate the MS stick got it but never using and it not remind me nothing about plane controls

Seems like the new Logitech is a nice piece of equipment. There's a review at dogfighter.com, for example.

Sounds good. Will we be able to select different effects? I personally really like the stall buffeting (WB's stall shake is a lot like real life, especially with the stall horn turned off

), but I don't care much for the stick getting heavier at higher speeds. I know it _does_ that IRL, but todays tiny sticks just makes it feel cheezy for me.

I'd really like force feedback. Used to fly the Yak 3 a lot in WarBirds and with the wind noise and the stick weight I used to pretty much not need the airspeed indicator in a dogfight. Very useful for chasing F4Us in a climbing fight.

Hmmmm... Not sure if WW2 fighters had stall horn but in real life it's always present, no switch to "turn it off"

Not in the planes I fly, Lynx

. So far my experience is limited to Bergfalke III and ASK-21, but most gliders don't have them. They do, however, have a very noticeable stall buffet, and WB with a FF stick feels almost exactly like that

Well... In those that do have them it usually is just a buzzer operating on pressure changes near the leading edge as the wing is approaching stall - a mechanical thing, no switches.

Would be interesting to know if WW2 planes had them though - anyone in the know?
