Before to have a beautifull thing like Contrails shouldn't we get before a better clouds engine?
I find those we have just...boring...usual 15K barrage, some cloud here and here...otherwise blue sky everywhere.
It happened one time only that dense clouds was over a CV and around the base under attack...something like from 2000ft till 6000ft and it was great!
Imho before to work on contrails (don't misunderstand me, i wish them too) we should ask for a more real cloud simulation..
Starting with fog: think about GV battles protected by dense fog!
Cumulus and Nimbo Cumulus: clouds wich can have a vertical of 27k feets!
Alto Cumulus and Strato Cumulus: those are already simulated...like general clouds but nothing close to a cumulus.
And here comes the clouds for the bombraids lovers: alto stratus, cirrus and cirro stratus
Sorry for the "off topic" but imho we need first a "meteo simulation engine" with wind, Hight and low pressure, warm and cold winds.
I would be glad to see this one day...
