We came in at lunch in the winter to dry off our clothes from sleding or sking and eat.  In summer when it began to get dark.  I don't remember ever seeing any fat kids in school.  We were far too busy to sit and play video games all day.

If I think some is a lardarse. Its because I think they are a lardarse. There is noting political about my feelings other then in being political in not saying what I'm thinking. 
And yes I know its non of my business.

But like it or not Laz. They do cost you and me money. With socialized medicine or without.
On the socialized medicine side we have government funding in hospitals. Which of course I dont have to tell you about.
On the other end we have insurance companies who continually raise their premiums. They nab you for what they perceive as obesity ralated ailments.
Diabetes, Heart attacks as well as everything else everyone is doing

So unless you dont have health insurance. (which would be a very foolish thing)

The amusing thing about the insurance companies is they tend to be reluctant to cover surgery to correct Obesity. Like gastric bypass. Which long term would save them, and you and I money.

But wait. It gets even more amusing.
They all use CDC studies to determine how much Obesity costs are. And thus in the end howthey determine how much it should cost you and I.

Problem there is CDC studied may be overstated.

This is not about  government control or socialized medicine, it is about the fact that I don't want to pay for someone to be sitting on his or her butt at my expense because he or she cannot control how much food they stuff in their mouth.  Healthy is healthy, not fat or too skinny for that matter.   
I have heard people complain because the airlines are making obese passengers buy two seats.  O well, if your butt intrudes into my purchased space then you better pay for it. Hospitals now have to have a certain amount of obese beds to accommodate obese patients.  Most of these patients are on Medicaid due to health realted issues. (Gee, I wonder who pays for that?). 
Take care of yourself, so you don't become my problem too.

Roseanne Barr is grossly overweight, this girl isn't even close to that.

You can 'watch what you eat' all you want. If you don't know what you're doing, it won't make a difference.

What percentage of people have absolutely no clue what a healthy diet is? '99% fat free' doesn't mean a thing. To some people, that's all 'watching what they eat' consists of. 

If she's excercising every day, eating properly and she's still that big there's something wrong with her and she should see a doctor.

Without socialism they can't cost you a cent.. they should pay more for insurance.. they can die early.. any of a number of things but.. they don't cost you squat.  not unless socialism is involved.

Airlines could make a seat that would not allow anyone with a waist over say...27"..  you "fatsos" at 28 inch would not be able to fly. or.. they could make some seats bigger and charge more for em..or.. charge everyone and spread the pain and then not be competitive and go out of business..

Not with socialism tho.. with socialism they would be forced to have a certain amount of fat seats.. all airlines.. they would all have to charge more.  you of course.. would have no choice.
