When in Aces High if you alt-tab out and bring up the calibration page from Windows control panel does it seem to function ok then.

That's the kicker, you can tab out look at the Windows calibration and it's perfectly normal, go to AH calibration and it spikes to full left or right no matter how minute you twist it.

Have you tried shutting down all saitek software in the system processes, etc?

Shifty
I have an old set of usb ch pro peds that need a new home.
They worked great except the toe brakes don't work - never used them as brakes are setup on a hat on my x52 throttle.
they'd solve your twisty stick issue right? You pay shipping and they are yours.
PM me if you are interested

Eagler,

Thanks for the offer. My wife went ahead and ordered me the Saitek pro pedals. They came in yesterday. Now if I have the X52 pro, and pedals hooked up buttons on the X52 pro won't work.
I hooked up my old X52 with the pedals and it works great. Thomas said he'd the X52pro stick and throttle , if it works on his rig I think he's about ready to start flying with us.

I really appreciate the offer though.  :aok

Most excellent diggit.  Make it so, Mr. Sulu.

So far you're right. I flew two 190 sorties Sunday and was kicking butt, then I went back Allied and to P-38s and was all over the place. Between the pedals and forcing myself to get used to the TrackIR I'm taking a beating. Just going to have to ride this one out. :D

I had to remap mine last night, that was a fun hour... I don't use saiteks software I just map them with the AH II stuff. They seem to work well, and my rudders work just like I wanted them to.. remember when calibrating that you move every axis you have to include rudders...
