Dred my vote's going to Paul/Lib/Constitution party. He can tug all he wants at my constitutionality string..
My apologies then.
But it really wast directed all at you.
Mostly "team" supporters here so its not hard to see how I might make that kind of mistake.
Its my experience that about 90% of the people who scream "down with Obama" Or "Down with Mccain" Really are only saying down with one party over the other.
Wouldnt matter who which side put up. Only the names would change.
They play to whichever side is pushing their particular panic button about the other.
I am still undecided. But it is more likely I'll be "wasting" my vote voting outside of the two big parties.
I already declared myself and the country a winner as soon as Hillary was knocked out.
As for the remaining two. Neither side really bowls me over.
Neither party impresses me...at all.
I dont particularly care for Obama. but McCain doesnt present enough of anything to really win me over.
Obama could win my vote if he promised to rid us of The Patriot act. But thats not going to happen inasmuch as he voted for it to begin with.
If I were to vote for one just to keep the other out. it would probably be Mccain like the rest of you.
But I cant in good conscience vote one way just to keep the other out anymore.
Neither deserves the position. Neither is good for the country IMO.
At some point we all have to make a stand. Other wise election after election its just going ot be the same thing over and over.
And its supposed to be for who is best for the country. Not for who is the least worst.
So thats whom I am going to vote for. Whomever I think is best. Even if it is third party.
And if the third party votes keep one side or the other from getting elected.
No matter which side it is. They will have wholeheartedly earned that loss. 110%
There is that old saying that "the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results."
Well thats exactly what we do when all we do is vote for the same people into office time and time again.
Often we vote the very same people into higher office that helped get us into the screwed up situations to begin with.
This is the case with McCain and Obama.
They helped screw us. Now we're supposed to reward one of them with a big promotion.
This is like a rape victim thanking the rapist for raping them and then giving them a job.
