Twenty Fo, her teleprompter was off mark at the convention she did that from memory. All these things you've brought up have been addressed and found to be lies. Grow up! Meanwhile, Obama is going duh, err, uh you know. The man is on drugs or alcohol. Something isn't right. However I have always said this guy aint too bright. The only one that can make him look bright is O'biden. :rofl :rofl

How about:

  • International experience. What's her experience dealing with international issues, leaders and people
  • Knowledge of global economy. What background does she have and on what basis would she be able to judge the impact of the policies she intend to implement? Specialist helpers are all well and good but any leader needs a strong background if he/she is not be reduced to a puppet
  • Military experience. Putting a n00b civilian in charge of the military is basically the same as putting a total n00b biker on a GSX-R 1000. Sure, the n00b has some ideas, but no real clue.
  • Religious background, and amount her faith influences her decision making. The US is not a theocracy like Iran and big decision must be based on reasoning, not faith. There's a separation between the state and religion (albeit a rather weak one) for a reason. I need to know that I got someone to whom critical thinking is an integral part of their decision making process
  • Views on foreign policy, views on domestic economy. Thoughts about how to deal with the huge national debt that just keeps getting bigger

Check these links out:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122100776282517559.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

Keep in mind the gas pipeline deal is "international" with Canada.
This is just a very small list. The questions also apply on McCain, Obama and other key players. What's disturbing is that the average Joe doesn't care one bit about it because of the smoke and mirrors tactics used by both sides. "Ooh look shiny thing!".

Thanks Eskimo, at least that provides a little background.

I'm still a bit skeptical though. Same about Obama. Too many soundbites, too little facts.

Maybe I should say that I like both personalities. McCain I know fairly much about, Obama much less and Palin almost nothing. The one thing that worries me about Palin is that it seems she's used her political power in less than benign ways and in a non public capacity. On the other hand, it does speak of sharp elbows, something that's needed on the international scene.

Lies? Getback....all we've heard from Palin so far are scripted political rallies. Her return to Fairbanks, Alaska last night even had a teleprompter. I want to hear from her own mouth about her political record. There are plenty of questions that have not been answered. Her avoidance to do an interview, in my opinion, is going to catch up to her.

This week I've seen Obama in an interview on the O'Reilly Factor for 3 days in a row. Not necessarily the friendliest of territories. Last night Obama was on Letterman. McCain had a couple interviews as well. I want to see Palin answer tough questions. She is a pitbull with lipstick, what is she afraid of?

twenty fo.. so you will not answer the question I asked about why do you liberals think that Palin kicked the crap out of your boy?

She wiped out every bit of his lead and then pulled ahead.. she had more people watching her speech than his sermon on the mount thing.

She is the new rock star..  he is not.   He is flustered and on the defensive.

You say.. now.. that you don't believe in the polls but.. you must admit at least that there has been a shift in both support and interest.

WHY DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT IS?

Tell me.. why are Americans energized over her and turning away from the messiah in such large numbers?

Here's the deal. She is a new and fresh face in one of the most important elections this country has ever seen. John McCain, on the other hand, was seen by many Republicans as not the right choice for the presidential election. He has had some very non-republican stances over his career in politics. That didn't sit too well with some of the Republican base.

Do you remember how outraged some people were that McCain was going to get the nomination? Palin has seemed to unite the base. Like you said they are glad to have their own 'rockstar'. For some reason, people are voting for McCain based on his VP....which is totally donut backwards. Her joining this presidential election campaign has made it a lot more interesting.

You don't even have the balls or brains to go up to her in person and ask her anything worthwhile... All you do is parrot what your leftist partisan idols do and say.  Zero original critical thought.

so twenty fo.. you are saying that the whole shift in the polls is just a few disgruntled conservatives shifting their support to Mccain now that he has her on the ticket?

come on.. you can do better than that..

fresh face?   biden did nothing for the polls..  you can do better than that.. it is like you are saying that the only reason osamabama did so well before Palin was that he was a fresh face.

You can do better than that.

WHY DO YOU THINK SO MANY ARE ENERGIZED BY PALIN?

By your reasoning..  she can only do better by playing the letterman rock star or finding shows that will throw softballs at her like they all did until recently to your messiah.

You can do better..  answer what you really think is the reason RED America is energized and blue America is going over.

She simply grabbed the Republican Base and pulled it closer together. McCain by all means is not that conservative/republican....we all know this. I think many were afraid that if he got elected he would return to his so called Maverick ways and bypass Republican ideologies.

Thanks, I will take your words of wisdom and pass them down to all I see. Moot your advice is priceless. Have you considered trying to get a job with a newspaper in hopes of getting an advice column? I think it would be a tremendous success. You are so positive and inspiring by your thoughts and words. I could only wish to have those skills.

sooo your answer is that the 15 or more points in the polls is just a few angry conservatives no longer supporting osamabama?

That is weak.. even for you.

If that is true then why are you even upset and trying to make her out as even more conservative?   why so desperate here and in the media?

I mean.. you aren't gonna win back all those (ahem) conservative republicans that were for osambama yesterday and for Palin today.

You realize she increased the amount of women votes by 20 poll points right?  they are all conservatives?

Huh?  What discussion?  You're just repeating what the demo party says, going on your Democrat party monologue and hoping to catch as many fishes as you can with your boilerplate bait.  You're even wearing their badge on your sleeve. You're a maskin lemming just like I said.
As for panties... Yet another knee jerk projection. You have no masking clue who you're talking to.  You're completely clueless.  You're stuck in america, have never even been anywhere else, and pretend to know jack poop about anything outside of it before you even got past your damn teens. The only way for that not to disqualify you is for you to be all but Einstein, which you've never shown any clue of in any of your retarded pro-black, pro-democratic, anti-white, anti-republic, and most importantly anti-american posts.
Think it's time to change panties....let me know when you're done so we can continue our discussion.
"Think" is the key word right there. All you have is ad hominem, and even that's got no supporting evidence.

You've made ZERO contribution to the advance of factual debate in these presidential (nevermind political) debates.  All you do is tow the same "I'm a black american teenager siding for Barack Obama" litany.  Yeah... You and every other MTV brat.

What do you have to contribute that actualy helps the readers get closer to the bottom of this presidential campaign?
