definite coolness! now i have to go get one of them for my ponyD

however........he gets 0 points on that first landing, and very low points on the second one. he missed the flare both times.

The cool thing about this sound system is somehow its hooked to throttle channel.
 When he gives it throttle the motor revs higher. Never seen that before.

i noticed he flew it on a 4 blaede prop. most only fly on 2 bladed props. wondering what he has for an engine in it myself

I avoided the problem of adding a sound system to my R/C P-51 by installing a 4-stroke engine from the beginning.  It doubled the build cost and the plane came out a touch on the heavy side as a result, but it's been worth it I think.  It flew very nice up at altitude when I built/flew it at the USAF Academy so I am hoping I'll get a chance to refurbish it after 3 moves and fly it closer to sea level.

its an electric engine. I use to work on rc planes and cars, trust me if it was nitro you would know it.

and its just a recorded sound track played from the nose cone, connected somewhere between the motor and receiver. 

and that plane is waaay to nose heavy.

yep...mine has a ys 4 stroke in it.

if you're saying that from thew taxi or from the landing, every mustang i've seen taxis like that on grass, including mine, and mine is not nose heavy.

 as for the landing, it seemed there was a crosswind, and he just got caught up in correcting for that, and forgot to flare.....twice.

something i just remembered.....i thought there was a post on these bbs, awhile back about a miniture allison or merlin....that ran.........that'd make more sense. i've never seen an electric powered rc fly on a 4 blade prop.....

Really what you need to do is to contract that guy that built the exact scaled down version of the Ferrari to just build a miniature Merlin engine LOL
