F7F Tigercat
« on: September 12, 2008, 08:24:42 AM »
 :cry
How about a new plane in the works?
Sure would like to see the F7f Tigercat as a new ride.
This was Grumman's racey test bed that actually saw service in the Pacific in 1945 and Korea. Multiple versions were produced but basically it was the first tricycle gear twin fighter the Navy acquired. Sure would like to wing one up.

Never saw combat in WWII. Sorry Uncl, but its a requirement for a plane to be added to AH.

Yep, the Marines got them too late.

And "saw service in Korea" doesn't translate well into a WW2 flight sim.   :uhoh

So... Since this wish obviously won't get anywhere. Let's convert it to an HE-111 request thread! :D

111

111

111

And it is easy to spell!

I bet HTC is going to surprise us with the 111 when the T34/85 update occurs.  Rumor has it that testers who have been sworn to secrecy are flying it.
Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time
