(smacks eagle)  Time to stop drinking decaf coffee! :D

Great find WW.  The jug pilot must have been virtually eight to twelve feet off the ground.  Incredible flying.  I bet the 190 pilot never saw it coming.
I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.

Yeah, I'll bet they did.

What.. they don't have windmills in Germany?

Of course they do but I was looking at the undeveloped appearance of the airfield which made me think of locations in Holland (Netherlands) but of course that could be the same nearly anywhere. Its not a real good picture of course and hard to say but I dont think that structure is typical of the stone tower or wooden smock windmills (built high above ground) typical of Germany but more like the Dutch tower mill. Not that Im an expert on mills but I have a few hundred in my day.

By the way there are only four of these Dutch tower mills left today. If its one of those (unlikely) it would be easy to track down the location.

What if that Fw driver pulls trigger... BOOM?

In that case I dont think we'd be looking at this particular guncam film. :)

Is it just me or is only the 190 moving?

The objects in the background stay pretty much in the exact same location each frame but the 190 gets closer to the camera.
Was this really from the P47's gun cam or was it taken from another perspective?

Well, the Jug is probably going VERY fast, so these three frames are probably less than a second from first to third, so nothing else would have TIME to move.

Reminded me of a similar image from a 4th FG history.  Mustang strafing a 190 on the taxiway.  190 driver turned his nose towards the attack, about all he could do to protect himself caught in the open like that
