Sorry, didn't mean to preach to the wrong guy.

The f-106 I assume was a military aircraft.  They are allowed to go fast and low on military training routes.

Also, waivers are granted from the FARs for certain airshows.

Eagle20,
I am one of the beta testers and a far cry from being one of the aces in this game but I do know how to fly these planes to a proficient degree. You do need to get some speed up to keep from stalling, or getting the stall horn for that matter. I am up regularly and will be more than willing to help you with what I do know. Any of the guys with AT on the back of their handles are more than ready and willing to help. I do suggest you help yourself to a degree by reading the faq's first and being familiar with some of the basics in the game.

Bohica you betcha those FARs are waived.

At Dayton one year the first B-1B in service was on static display.  Late on Saturday he left and the announcer made a big deal of waving goodbye to him.

Then he distracted the crowd with somebody taxiing out in formation (RCAF aerobatic team?).

Anyways all eyes were "right" but from the left came the B-1B at about 150 AGL, wings swept back, going fast enough that you couldn't hear him until he was well past us.

RRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRR R he came ripping down the runway, went past the crowd, then did a hard pull-up into a climbing turn.  It was great - women screaming, kids crying, etc.

Guys F15 strike eagle the first sim? No way! I can remember sitting in front of my Apple ][ plus and enjoining MS FS 2. Payed a lot of money for the import to Germany but the investment paid me off.
