Animated Water

I would like to get animated water back considering I can handle it well with my new video card. Even with my old one id put it on ::). It looked great. HtC please bring it back...!!! Skuzzy come on .. Ill give you a cookie ::)

Why would they re-implement something that they improved on? Are you going to ask for the old La5FN/7 graphics models back too?

Ahahahahahahaah.

Ok now that thats out of the way , it wasn't an improvement. I can see if they upgraded the water. But they made it to where the water looks gross and you cant change it.

That would be a step back. Puting any new water in the game regardless of what you think it looks nice or not would be a step foward and an optional one for those who cant handle that.

IMO The problem with the animated water was that it only looked good from certain alts and it was very hard to see against during a fight (at least for me) I do believe there is a place for something like that, but if they bring it back, it would have to be better than it was before....not just the same thing.

The animated water was removed because most of the player base didn't use it.  It looked terrible from almost any altitude and it had a negative impact on most player's FPS.

New water


I think you're forgetting how horrible the old water looked.


I don't remember exactly what animated water did but I seem to remember that it added twinkles or something that looked like... crap.

Ack Ack you say it drops frames true. It was not mandatory , you could put it on if you liked it or turned it off if you didn't.

Furthermore , if they were going to take it out , they should bring it back new and improved.
