We don't sit around and talk to god about a holy war as we teach kids that dinosaurs walked with humans.  So, I'd rather be a teacher.  She is a complete moron, and incapable of looking at world views from a realistic standpoint.

Already been tried by Reps,... already been done, nothing to find. Frantic paranoia at it's best on Rep side grasping at any straw they think might work. 99% of them don't work because it's made up  and based on half truths.

So you are basically saying that Mr. Obama's association with a known domestic terrorist is ok in your book?

His relationship goes far beyond what Obama has tried to establish. In short, Obama lied about the relationship.

Quote
... a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from.  He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.

But there is evidence that Obama had a much closer relationship.

Quote
It has long been reported that they both sat on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago.  We now also know that Ayers helped found the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Fund, with Obama as the first Chairman of the Board.  We also know that Obama, Thomas Ayers (Bill Ayers father) and John Ayers (Bill's brother) all served on the Leadership Council of the Chicago Public Schools Education Fund (described here as "the successor" to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge project).

The story is still unfolding; the University of Illinois just had to release the Annenberg files under the FOIA. I think we'll be hearing more about it because

Quote
The President of the University of Illinois, B. Joseph White, and the University Counsel of the University of Illinois, Thomas Bearrows, contacted Kenneth C. Rolling, the former Executive Director of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) and a professional colleague of Barack Obama for many years, prior to the release of CAC records to the public late last month and offered Rolling an opportunity to recommend to the University which records of the CAC held at the University's Chicago campus (UIC) should be restricted from public access.

In response to Rollings' detailed request to prevent public access to certain CAC records Bearrows replied "as promised, we will carefully consider the concerns that you identify..."

The request is described in documents released by the University last week pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by a third year law student in Chicago.

You have to wonder why they denied access.

But hey...what's a little association with a known terrorist when there's the latest charge against Palin.

Quote
While she was on her state championship basketball team, she was called for travelling. The legislature must appoint an independent counsel to investigate whether the travelling was for personal benefit and whether it was done while she was on state time. Regular school hours clearly are “state time.”

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

http://billayers.wordpress.com/2008/09/01/reactionary-wing-nut-sends-national-media-on-witch-hunt/

"Whatever one thinks of Ayers’ actions 40 years ago, there is nothing to condemn, and much to admire, about his leadership and commitment over the past 20 years in making schools better places to teach and learn. And there is nothing to condemn, and much to applaud, in Obama’s close association with those efforts."

So.. if someone were to remain associate of say Timothy McVeigh  after learning of his terrorist activities they'd be ok with you?

Yup. and Reverend Wright wasn't a racist till after Obama left the church.

Reverend Wright is just great. :aok The Black community needs more voices like him. I think he needs to be on television, with no pressure whatsoever from corporate censors. Furthermore, I think all White people old enough to have developed vertebrate intelligence and gotten past being impressionable or desiring to be "hip" and "fit in" should be required to watch the program. Age 40 and up sounds reasonable here.

McCain was in the senate how long?
Did he have any associations with senators and congressmen that have been indicted, jailed, sued ...whatever....
so should we lump him together with them too?
Was Tom Hayden a congressman?
Did McCain ever associate with him?
wasn't that guy a ...omg... a protester who associated with ...omg.. people who may have done bad things...
oh yeah...incredible associations...Jesus sat with satan in the desert for 40 days
What do you think they were up to-- Must be a bad guy - he conversed and actually agreed on some points
nice theory... kinda lame..like the article said.. the reporters were embarrased to have to do it..they knew it was crap..
