Vote Republican, higher taxes and bigger government.  Truth stings a bit...

They always say, less government and less taxes, yet it always ends up more debt, and more government.

He actually said there needs to be one agency instead of dozens of legacy agencies who don't work together.  Pretty much the opposite of your claim.  No need to let integrity get in the way of personal gain right?

Skyrock.....totally agree.

Hey American people this is who you want 4 more years of? Bush and McCain are pretty similar when it comes to their economic policies. Deregulation and let the market operate on its own is what they stand for. Yea, smaller government means throwing $80 Billion to bail out a failing business.

What's wrong with the market operating on it's own?

IMO it should be allowed to operate on it's own and left to take the hit when it screws up...period.

Remember the savings and loan thinigy a few years back?   That happened under regulation.

So regulation or no regulation can lead to a failed or damaged market.

The key to the whole thing is to not have all the banks so intertwined that when one fails because of stupid decisions many others are affected.

That's the problem, Republicans say they want a free market, but when a business is going to fail they bail them out. The airline's are a perfect example. There have been numerous airlines that have been bailed out by the federal government. The financial industry is in shambles right now, so the government is bailing them out. The so called "free market" does not really exist here in the US. So more government is the solution to the problem? Which is it?

No one, there is not a clear enough majority of either party to get anything done.

Who controls congress right now?

Who had total control for almost 8 years?
