That's a fact. I keep at least 3 loaded firearms in my home at all times, plus 1 that I carry loaded in my truck at all times, and not one of them has ever jumped up all on it's own and tried to shoot me or anyone else.
What I find the most disturbing about the folks like Obama, Clinton, and Pelosi, that want to ban certain types of firearms, is the fact that they have NO clue what they are even talking about when it comes to those weapons. What I mean by that statement is they have no technical knowledge of how the weapons operate. They want to ban weapons because of how they look!? They want to ban semi automatic handguns!? They just don't understand what it is they are saying. Here is a little news flash. There is no such thing as a semi auto handgun. You have revolvers and automatics. Automatics operate in a semi automatic mode of operation, but that isn't a class of weapon, but they would have you believe it is by the way they talk.
Point being, as a gun owner, and avid sport shooter, if someone wants to try and convince me that a ban on my weapons is a good idea, they better come to me with accurate knowledge on the subject, and be able to convince me they fully understand what it is they're trying to tell me. That has NEVER been the case though, so I fall back on my original position when dealing with extreamists that think gun bans, and anti gun views make sense, with my own brand or extreamism, and that is, you want them, come and try to take them from me personally.
I know enough about firearms to have a sensible and knowledgable conversation and debate about a whole slew of weapons, but it's going to take allot more than "they look evil, or it's a military style weapon, or guns are only made to kill people" to convince me that I should turn in my weapons.
Obama has voted for every gun control meassure that has crossed his desk with no regard to the Constitution or the 2nd Amendment. And he supposedly worked in Constitutional Law? Give me a break.
