Yeah, I remember the implosion at agw when freehost came out.  I never tried it.  But I did look at their website a little while ago, and they make a pretty good case for doing what they did, i.e. the lack of development by iEN.

Well first off you have a never ending whine on what dates are chosen for each plane.

Second if I log into an arena and I feel like going fast, I want to be able to up a La7.
Not be stuck in early war.

If I want early war, I go to early war.
Mid war, head to mid war.

So no, I don't think its fun, and no, I know its not needed.
And no I won't bother to reply again because your just wasting time.

Its not going to happen, period.

Begs the question.  In 1940 the 109E and Spitfire are fast; the La-7 doesn't exist. :P

Crying about "being stuck in early war" sounds similar to a time travel movie where you could get stuck in the 80s. :lol

LOL no I'm not mad at you chewie, I just don't like RPS's. They suck IMO.

HTC is about keeping a broader customer base, so they actually pay the bills btw.

Anything that keeps people from flying is a no no.

Looked at in that regard RPS just doesn't make sense.

By all means, get into FSO, best flying in AH.

I would get in FSO... not so Euro-user-friendly  event's start time..
Ok now I have your opinion about RPS. What about the others ? I wish to have a larger feedback about...

Here we go ....

Who is askin to have a reply ONLY from you? I've already had your answer about, I'm asking for some others.

And yes there could be a never ending whine if someone of the AH Bosses doesnt bring an historical book (or a couple) and says " Accordingly  to these books we decide these dates.  period"    ...
30 secs of thinkin about this huuuuge problem and this could be a solution.

BTW this is a Forum, it's a latin word. look for the meaning.  I just want to discuss with the community, I dont even care if Pyro Skuzzy HT etc read this post, probably they will never do.  I just want to probe AH community's thoughts.

You should search the forums on having a rolling plane set in the game.  The community has already voiced its opinion many times and HiTech has also mentioned in a quite a few of those threads of his distaste for a RPS.  Basically, threads like these are beating a dead horse, a RPS system is not going to happen in AH.

Also, as a member of this community (and a long standing one at that, far longer than you've played AH), Ghosth has the right to reply and as you mentioned this is a forum for those in the community to voice their opinions on.  Don't be one of those players that ask for the community's input and then becomes dismissive when one posts an opinion contrary to yours.

I know this is taking the idea a little out of the main idea, but i was wondering if AH could develope and employ an areana for WWI vintage air craft???

Anyone who proclaims himself to be a turn fighter, stall fighter or a furballer would love this type of areana. those were the true furballers, the trurning and stall fighting capabilities of the planes from that era was amazing.

just a thought

Chewie,

The dates you listed for aircraft contain a great number of errors.

Planes of that war were just like planes in World War II.  Some were BnZ type of fighters (Spad) and some were turn and burners (Fokker Dr.1), so you will probably see the exact same types of fights in that arena as you would in the WW2 arenas, albeit with much slower planes.

My view is along the lines of the majority of the community, RPS sucks.

No to RPS.
If I want to limit the number and type of opponent I come across I'll pick a different arena.
