Since learning how to drive a tank (I still suck), I've learned first hand how frustrating it is to have a good tank fight intruded on by ground attack aircraft, whether or not they are friendly or enemy. Let's not even worry about the people who have to immediately up an Il-2 or A-20 when you kill them in their M4... Today I watched a countryman drop about 6k of bombs from his Lancstukas on
one panzer.

I was naive enough to suggest that maybe that's not the best way to encourage him to come back.

I know some will say "hey, that's war." But remember that in most cases the person in the airplane takes on no risk when they drop a bomb on a tank. It is a totally one-sided engagement. Yes, gv busting has its place, but leave the fun tank battles alone.
Anyway, my apologies for any good gv fights that I've messed up with my 190F-8. I will use more discretion with it to break up genuine base capture attempts, good old hangar busting, and ordinance porking, but I will try to leave simple gv fights alone!

Every map should have a tank town where the v-bases cannot be captured, and there's 30k foot mountains around it to prevent aircraft from intruding. Wasn't the trinity map like that?
