Beauty of a skin Fencer, your VVS skin is my absolute favorite though.

:aok  Very nice, always liked that colour, too bad it won't be in the game fast enough for the next FSO.

Very nice, Fencer.  Always loved the yellow surround insignia.

One point, IIRC, the yellow surround was on the fuselage only; not the wing insignia.   Don't have resources with me to confirm that but it seems to me its come up in this forum before, I think when I was doing my early P-38 Sad Sack...

That's a nice skin Fencer. :aok Maybe you could add a shadow to the rear of the cowl cooling flaps though.

Oboe it makes no sense to outline an insignia on the fusalage and not the wings.  I have seen alot of other aircraft with the yellow on the wings.  P-47Ds in England for example.  Until I see some proof I am going to have to call that a 42 on the newly established KBS meter. :lol

Lemme know when you find your documentation.

On it Greebo.

Thanks All.

I do believe Oboe is correct in what he's seen.  It may be an in between, or caught in the middle of painting bit, but I believe I've seen that on the 25s too.  At work at the moment, but will check when I get home.

Like you are some expert, what you got some sort of extensive library or something?  Look, the profile shows it with a yellow ringed star on the upper wing.  Profiles are the bestest of the sources.

Let me know what you find, I will modify to suit.  After all, you and Oboe are twin engined bomber experts! :aok
