From Brisvegas and we had one excellent weekend!
The airshow was a blast! Unfortunately I couldn't find all of my CF cards before we left so I had to make to with the two I had in the bag. Consequently I've only got about 900 photos to sort through, pretty much all of them are of the flying action.
It's been something in the order of thirty years since I attended an airshow at that particular base so the memory was a little rusty. I could have been better prepared, but I have a definite plan of attack for the next time
As soon as I get some of these photos sorted I'll be posting some pics.
We were treated to some of the best flying I've ever seen, some fine aircraft both old and new and a lot of very hot dry weather.
I must say a BIG thank you to Dantoo for putting us all up for the weekend
All up 4 members of 9GIAP were in attendance, SirNuk3 got a good taste of the Australian climate
and the Mrs got a pretty impressive dose of sunburn
Our daughter had a hard time keeping up with everything, and by the end of the show had succumbed to exhaustion for a short time, but she loved it and would not stop talking about it for about half the trip home until once again she fell asleep in the car
Looks like we have another plane nut in the Family, (My niece has recently been accepted to ADFA on a scholarship to study aeronautical engineering
) so all is well!
