The Fonts are Too Small!

Guys,

Nice update but I had to exit the game before trying anything out.  The fonts are WAAAAYYY too small.  Im playing on a 17" screen, at 800x600 and I gotta squint to see the text!  Why did you change it?  If possible I request an option to use the old text size....looked fine on my screen.

This new font is just about unreadable?  Does it have anything to do with Windows settings?

Amen! You young whipper snappers are going to be sued for age discrimination.  There seems to be plenty of room to increase the font size but maybe you can't have small icons and larger font?  Otherwise, an excellent effort.  Well Done!

yep, can't even read em in 640 res with large fonts.  Mind you, I'm using a 25" TV, but I could read em before!

I am strongly against making the icons any larger, but all the other fonts, make them customizable.

What Funked said.  If we can have small icons and larger font in the radio buffer fine, but I'll live with the small radio font to keep the small icons.

Font size is readable for me at 1280. I think the ariel or modern type font would be better for the chat. A sizable option would be great but hey, In view of all the work, I'm not complaining

Works fine in 1600*1200 too, no complaints here. Aah oh yes one little complaint.. why am I sitting at my work writing this when I could be home flying my a** off in the new version?

I think it was not understood that the icon fonts would also change the radio fonts.

Personally I find the radio fonts a little small but I am adjusting to it.

If it is not possible to have different radio fonts then I vote to keep the fonts the way they are, because I love the new icon fonts.  But Pyro already said they are looking into it.

I love the smaller plane Icons, but find the radio buffer text a bit hard to read.  I don't think it is the size completely, but a combonation of the current size / color scheme.

I tried 800x600 rez and the text became all broken, basically unreadable.  I did not try 1600x1200 and normally run in 1280x768.

Red used to be the hardest for me to read, now the easiest.  Go figure...

I too like the new ICON font size.  It's more realistic.

I don't like the radio text font size.  It extremely difficult to read, especially the gray text.

Sorry for the confusion...

The font size Im referring to is the size of the text in the radio buffer, not the icon font sizes.  

At 800x600, the radio text is just about illegible.
