TIGER is a NOTHING now!! Sherman, T34/85 better vehicles! TIGER may be marginaly better in a few areas but certainly not for the cost in perks!-----> truely sad such a fine machine has been relegated to the "COST TO MUCH bone yard "

While I'm at it! where is the PANTHER ? with nearly 7,000 copies produced, surely it deserves a place in AH, How many fireflies were produced by wars end? My guess is not nearly the # of panthers!

No, M8 was making a run for town and wasn't watching where he was going and got stuck in some water. I rolled up to about 200 and stopped to let him have it. If I hit his engine...nothing, turret...nothing, wheel...still nothing. I was about to get really

Had all too many HE rounds from my M4 bounce off M3's. Seems the HE ammo is in need of a bit of tweaking, even drunks running on the ground need a direct hit to kill them with HE.

YMMV but I've spent a lot of time in GV's and this has been my experience.

HE is indeed modeled wrong; it should detonate no matter what it hits. it will richorchet off of some sloping sloping armor, for sure.

I got a panzer a few weeks ago in a t34 with HE rounds. I had only taken HE to drop a town and I get a surprise of a panzer rolling to me. He stopped at the base of one of the hills in town and was waiting for me to roll too far forward. First HE round popped his turret. He then started to run and the second took him in the engine...BOOM! It was very satisfying.

Frankly, I gave up on Tigers after the M4 came out.  But, got stung by my own stupidity last weekend when upping a tiger (foolishly) multiple times only to get nailed by one shot ... from multiple vehicles each time.  Not sure about an M3 "harder" than a Tiger.  HT would have to comment on that.  But, the tiger's effectiveness is no longer worth the points you lose when you die from a OSOK.

I did enjoy the ground game more back when Tigers were the boogeymen of GVs. You'd see a Tiger rolling out from behind a hill and actually get concerned.

The cost of the Tiger vs the M4 is laughable, 6:1.   Yet the M4 can kill a Tiger with one shot time after time.  There is no good argument for how things are now, none.  It's easy to fix.  But nothing will happen.

  It was more of a Challenge when 2 or 3 Tanks would work on a Tiger together to take him down.

I don't agree about the m3 thing. I do agree with the tiger not being worth the perks. So yes its time for a new german tank to fear.. Maybe the panther or the king tiger..

Ummmm...just decrease the cost of the Tiger.  12 perks would be fair, 2x the cost of the M4.

pshht, idk if its my luck or wat, i had a time, i spawned with a tiger, i see a sherman infront of me, i turn turret to aim, then boom, got 1 hit by the sherman...

NO NO! The thing to do is increase the cost of sherman and t34/85, bringing the tiger down almost to panzer and t34 level will make it laughable! If the cost of sherman and t34/85 were very close to tiger then there would be actual RISK to upping one of them  Don't make stuff cheaper!! the bottom rung tanks will never be used if the higher end ones are too cheap!

Also this debate has been on here before and I've herd some wright that the TIGER is much stronger against bombing, this may be so, but when 95% of planes seek out the tiger as opposed to other tanks, this actuality is a MOOT point and not worth mentioning.

Just UBER up the TIGER armor and call it good!

I knocked out a Tiger the other day with a T34/85 from D28 with no problems.
We need our venerable Tiger to be feared worth it's perk!
