The last word.. RIP O'Club
« on: October 06, 2008, 08:57:10 PM »
Had a blast in here.. over a decade between this O'Club and the old forums. For those I had fun learning from, sharing with and debating with the great questions of our time..

Thanks. And thanks to the HTC folks that have over the years borne the piteous howls of the whiners that found offense in spirited discourse.

*sigh*

It was real.. it wuz fun, a lot of the time; real funny.  <S!> all!

Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. --RAH

A long, long time ago
I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while
But February made me shiver
With every paper I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Retiring to the rockin chair, I shall miss those who move on to hotter pastures.

These threads are almost as good as the ones where people announce they are leaving the game and expect the world to stop accordingly.

Actually, most of the time when people announce they are leaving the game they are doing nothing more than saying goodbye and tossing in a bit of reminiscing as well. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
