Obviously, the He-111 has become the most popular bird in the wishlist thread. Unfortunately, the majority of the threads about it are badly written and immature and thus actually work against getting the He-111 in game by making it look as if all of her proponents are, well, idiots. So, I have taken the time to put together this pre-fabricated wish-post. If you cannot think of a good way to wish for the Heinkel but still feel the need to make a thread, please use this instead of just saying "He-111!!!1!1!!" so as to avoid doing more harm than good.

Hate to say this, but you just did one more He-111 thread. It isnt any different from other besides this one is nice and polite, and it wouldnt stop ppl from making ever more he-111 threads, you know.

So we should post B-29 thread? Really learn how to spell right It wouldnt hasten things?? What dose that even mean. The He-111 need to be added or the Do-17 D-217 would be great to have.

I am a strong proponent and advocate of writing a writing a formal request in the worst Gothic font you can find. 

I've given up trying to present logical, historically-balanced arguments regarding the He-111, as the vast majority of those asking for it are jumping up and down and ranting like 3rd graders. Aside from the constant 'gimme gimme gimme', most can't justify the existence of the aircraft in the game aside from 'because I want it.'

It'll perform in the EW arenas, against Spit I and Hurricane Is, but it'll be massacred against most everything else. I personally, will see to it that He-111s become targets of choice whenever I get the opportunity. I'll gladly go head-to-head with a single MG (basically only one gun can be brought to bear on a fighter at any one time) any day, especially if I'm throwing eight .303s at it.

There have been some spectacular requests made on this forum, some logical ones like mapping a key to the E6B, improving the interface, etc., and some very, shall we say, questionable ones. Regardless, it's not about logical, well-researched requests. It's all about who jumps up and down, and who ridicules those who don't agree with their ideas, that win. It's a mob rules mentality, and the mob has a 3rd grade education. I've only seen a few (less than 5) requests on this forum that take into consideration, and document, not only the historical significance of the request, but the impacts on the playablility of the game overall, or the other environmental aspects of the game that would require additional work by HTC to implement the request.

The biggest complaint I've heard on this forum is that HTC never implements anything we post on this forum. If we stop acting like imbeciles and start acting like individuals with solid, historically-based requests, then maybe HTC WOULD take this forum, and it's posters, more seriously.

I think the He-111 is a perfect candidate for AH, but I believe there are other things, including aircraft, that are well up on the list of priorities. Yes, most of the priorities are my own, and not all are on others' lists.

What's the big deal about a non-nuke B-29? You perk the hell out of it and balance it with something non-perked that's capable of killing it. The nuke argument is stupid, we don't need them. B-29s carried nukes twice, hardly a precedent when compared to all the other B-29 sorties conducted in 1944-45. Despite this simple, to-the-point paragraph about the B-29, many posters on this forum will go bonkers when they read it, and respond accordingly.

I've worked on video-game design teams, including two flight sim and three naval sim games. I've monitored forums like these. And I've ignored countless posts that don't make their argument in the first two or three paragraphs. I rarely, if ever, read beyond the first few replies. I'm willing to bet HTC does the same thing. They don't have the time to read everything we post, or long, drawn-out ideas or concepts.

The best way to get an idea noticed is to make it short, concise, and accurate. Provide every aspect of justification you can find, historical, gameplay, etc., then hope for the best.

B-29 would just kill the game ask me. We just need early war planes to be added that all.

I agree to a certain point. I'd like to see the early-war planes filled out, but I wonder if it would increase or improve the anemic numbers in the EW arenas? I think that's a fair question to ask... 'Would 2, 5, 10 more early-war planes improve the EW areas?'

As for the B-29, I don't its any more a game-killer than the 262 is. Perk it high enough, and provide a non-perk aircraft to counter it (we already have the 262, 163, and Ta-152), and maybe prevent it from running a formation (single a/c only), and I don't see it as being game-altering.

But, that's my opinion, you have yours, and we're allowed to disagree, so long as we keep it civil and intelligent.

But the He111-6 and above are the more intersting ones that can start carrying torpedos, forward firing 20mm, stronger engines........still in the BOB the top speed of 270mph and ruggednes seems to have caused some issues with shooting them down. My sources could be wrong.
