If you slow the film down, you see no collision. :D

If I had of been the 4th plane floating down to the ground, then I would have sent it straight to HTC and cried.  :aok

You can only get external views when in bombers, you can however get external views when using the film viewer.

Try watching the film from springers PoV (F3 of course) as it looks truly epic, talk about being pulled from the brink.  :salute

Fighers have external view when they are sitting on the runway and will go away as soon as the plane's wheels leave the ground.

Don't get me wrong, if I would have hit him then by all means send me straight back to the tower. The whole two planes hitting each other and having only one of them reaping the benefits is just plain silly. But on the other hand I don't think HTC wants people going Kamakazi style when their plane runs out of ammo.

You misunderstood my post... some people say, in regards to the collision model, that 'if there's a collision both planes should take damage (regardless whether both FE's actually detected a collision). However if both planes took damage if one computer detected it no matter what, then you would have taken damage, even though you never hit him. This is why HTC's damage model is so effective.
