I think it would be awesome if htc would do two things.
1. htc makes it possible to control CV and its battle ships individually. the controls would be like pt boat. and also you would be able to spawn a battle ship or destroyer from a port and the controls be normal so basically u would be able to steer it and also control the speed. and to spawn a battle ship it would cost alot of perks.
2. and if htc would actually make it possible to be flown off the carrier from the catapults correct me if im wrong but isn't there catapults on the deck they just dont work. i think the game would be way better if they would make the above possible.
good idea it should be like 700 vehicle perks and a fleet.
someone tell me would it be good to have a working catapult.
IMHO as it is now, CV and fleet setup is great, give to every ship a "separate controll" would create a total cahos...Cv would be let alone while the CA's going to the town, someone pilot his own DD because he want to get close to the PT boats to score some easy kill...chat would get fulled of complains, whines ect...
The idea about spawn battleships is IMHO even worse, immagine what would happens if 30 guys decide to spawn one...
Instead the idea of manned 5" and 40mm at the port would be nice. The ships parked in the port are useless, one hit and they'r sunk. Instead replace them by DD or even a CA would give to the port a good defence (wich is for now too low).
The addon of battleship instead would be great, class V + escorts able to run cargo on the bay and release GV. It would give to the naval fights more interests in the arena, where, till now CV are used 90% of time like a good spawn point for a furball.
IMO a good change would be:
-let who plann and post a mission choose in the clipboard map "mission setup" the gunships, as it is now, when the mission start the gunships are random taken (who in 40mm, who in CV 5" ect.) Who plann would have the possibility to, for example, set the 4 x 8" and 2 x 5".
-when someone take the CV controll it should let him CLOSE it and prevent any take off. too many times, we manage to get the CV enought close, kill the SB first, work on town, get rdy for the "invasion" and everything goes wrong because someone choosed to take off and to spott out the CV.
