All your doing is adding files to the sound folder. Try them out. If you notice FR problems, remove them from the Sounds folder.

First let me say, I enjoyed the new sounds very much having installed already installed the American and British sound pack.  Got to love the P38 sounds.

Now I have a question on installation of the General Sound pack.  The files in the general sound package are older by date  than the original HT in the HT sound folder or did the general sound pack come with the American sound pack.  Normally I would not replace a newer file with an older file.  Did I goof up here?

I believe that the "general" sounds came with the custom pack you installed. HTC's sounds are embedded in the game so on a fresh install there is nothing in the sounds folder. Anything that is there after the install is from the custom pack.

I'm sure Twin would answer you here, but I think he is on vacation at the moment.  <cough><cough>

Thanks Fugitive.  That makes sense.  The sound in his pack of the P38 is turning my head away from the P47M.

Got it thanks. Installed the sounds and got them to work, then realized it really is stereo. I have 5.1 on my computer. So I put the old files back and realized those seem to only be stereo too. I never realized that. Does this game not support 5.1?

I was trying to redownload the American sounds because my engine start for the P51 has stopped working. I think it could be corrupted. Anyway, I was unable to find the current link. Any chance someone could point the way to it for me?

Click on either the stereo sounds folder or the mono folder on the left. It will open the folders and you can grab each individually.
