I LOVE this game. I find myself playing it for hours on end... It's like a second life.

Has anyone else been playing this game?  This is one of the best games I've played in a long time and was definitely worth the 10 year wait for another game in this franchise.  I really do recommend this game if you like first person shooter/RPG open ended games.  You can do whatever you want in this game without ever having do any of the main story line quests.  You can spend hours and hours just exploring the vast open areas.

Here are a couple of screenshots that I took while running around a town in the D.C. Wastelands.

I don't know if this has already been said but, the plane in the bottom Picture looks just like a P-80 Shooting Star

It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Point Lookout is by far the best of the DLC packs and highly recommended.  The upcoming one looks good too, get to play with the aliens this time.

Finished the main quest and all side quests in Point Lookout.

Greatest DLC yet.

It was actually hard, there were several Reavers, Trackers, Bruisers and a few Smugglers that took a hell of a lot of ammo to kill.

And... It's freekin spooky at night...

I've found it rather hard to get bad karma. Good karma can be gained from all around by freeing captives from super mutants, giving clean water to the beggars, which exists in multiple places. Leave the captive at it's faith and you don't get bad karma (even killing of the captive has no effect!). Tell the beggars to suck it and you don't get bad karma. Seems like blowing up Megaton and Tenpenny are the only guaranteed way to get massive bad karma, like you get massive good karma with ease. Though, then where could I store my stuff? Moira in Megaton also gives good quests with nice prizes, but I need to have a place to store my items before I get on such a long (and profitable) questing. It'd be a hell to carry all my stuff to Tenpenny afterwards, if I'd choose to blow up Megaton only after completing the quests by Moira. Besides, I have already decapitated Mr. Burke, when he attempted to kill Simms. I guess I can't stitch up the parts of his head anymore.

Compared to Oblivion it's a painfully quick game. With this bad character I've only completed two quests and gathered all the bobbleheads that I can get without following the main quest and I'm already up to level 9, only 11 levels from the cap. I could play Oblivion for days on end and still have plenty quests left and be nowhere near a level gap.
thats odd

i find it extremely easy to get good or bad karma
i made a max evil character without even blowing up megaton

what is difficult is getting neutral karma and keeping it because evrything you do in the main quest effects karma depending on what i say or the people i kill.
