Im going to be getting a new xbox 360 soon. My old one got the rrod  :cry. Any ways im going to be getting the Xbox 360 pro, and im going to be taking it online. I was hoping i could get some peoples xbox live ID's so when i get online i could talk to someone i all ready know. Im going to be getting a few new games as well; GTA4, Gears 2 and COD4 possibly COD5(not sure witch one is better)

Also im going to buy an intercooler to help prevent the rrod. Ive looked up a few inter cooler and i think im going with the Nyko intercooler EX. What do you guys think about it? im open to suggestions about another intercoolers.

Yep vans, Halo 3 and COD4/COD5 have to be the must multi player first person shooter games xbox has to offer.

ive heard not to get the nyko inter cooler because it sucks power from the xbox and can lead to worse problems, just make shure to put it in a place where it can ventilate itself nicely XBL - Matad0r0 COD4-5

The EX is the more newer and better intercooler from what Ive seen and read. I think what your referring too is if you use more then one power strip. At least thats what i was reading about. The intercooler as well as having it flat and in an area where it's not dusty and in an open are there should be no problem with it. I may just go talk to the local geek squad at best buy. They may know somthing about it.

I play cod4, halo3 (rarely) gears2, and various other games.
