How about making the refineries and factories ect more important. By at least increasing the effects of strategic bombing upon available resources and the length of time these resources are affected. As it is strategic bombing is not worth the effort , and hardly ever done even if you occupy the base right next to the enemy installations.

you must be fairly new to AH.
I've written several books in the Help and Training board about that very topic

There is a very effective strat system in AH, and with proper planning can leave any of the 3 countries w/o a pot to pee in.
You can disable bombers (via ammo bunkers) at fields for 2.5hrs at a time, restrict fuel to 25% for the same time, disable troops for that time, etc etc.

I'll see if I can find one of the old treads and punt it up for ya skippy. If I can't, I'll just write a new book

LOL ok , Cavemaster . i've been bombing the city then HQ's then refineries and it just doesnt seem to do alot , of course except for the city/hq combo destruction . A link to a better detailed explanation would be appreciated !

Skippy go look in the help and training board. I posted a thread in there with an excerpt and link to a book I wrote back in the beta about the strategic side of things.
you can also do a search for posts by 214CaveJ (my handle during the beta tours) and read all of them. Wrote a couple of doozies, but most of them dinnae apply because of the new map
