What's the problem? I saw Malan land 4 kills with a Mossie today. He obviously knows what he's doing, ground-attack plane or not.

Well, cry me a river....

The Spit16 is a decent jabo, hauling 1k in bombs and effective cannons. I'll use one to beat off a GV attack supported by the usual collection of P-51s, La-7s and scared crapless 190D wannabe fighter posers. Kill a couple of GVs, shred the fighters. A no-brainer.

I also like the Spit8 for this as well. Nikis, Ki-84s and the P-39Q are all fun for this type of game play. Nothing like a 37mm enema to warm the cockles of your cockles.

Suck it up, it isn't like you can't get another GV.

hmmm 1000lb ords, 20mm cannon, airframe and engine optimised for low-level use - I'd say its a ground attack a/c...
