Will we ever be able to give away perk points?

At least to those in my squad.   Not that I earn that many, but my thing is the historical events. I fly in the MA just enough to gather some points over a few weeks, but they just sit there. Never use em.

Will that ever be possible pyro, hitech?

I am off to the liquor store to get some beer for tonight's flying...  if the clerk there flies AH then I could I use the perk points to buy beer    Then they would actually have a good use!

I'd gladly take any extra perks that were unneeded or unwanted.

Just take off in a Ta-152 or Arado, let me know where you are then let me shoot you down with a Macchi 202!

As it is now I agree that perks has little value. There are far to few perk planes.

With more planes perked, I believe the situation would be different. Using a Tempest these days aint much fun. Every enemy in vis will come for you in suicidal attacks just to take your perks. I dont find that fun at all.

The perk system can be a good system to improve gameplay if used right. To me it makes sense to perk all late model planes. Maybe all after 1943 or so.

The perk system should also take max speed and size of armament into the equation for calculating perks.

So you'd perk the La-5, Fokker?

Well I have already suggested a list of things perks could be used for to make them more useful, one of which was to allow them to be gifted.  Other uses would be to, accelerate a base unit repair or to add autogunners to your bomber, buy a drone aircraft, using AI from offline model, which would fly a given mission such as bomb target, defend location, goon field, act as wingman etc with perks by act and by aircraft. These sort of options would make perks much more useful and thus much more able to affect player activities.
