Couple 109G-6 Bugs

First: When you get a radiator hit, the instrument that shows water coolant, does not change from a regular reading.

Second: Either when carrying a bomb or a drop tank, and you drop it off, it does not change the climb, weight, or speed of the airplane.

You fly radial engined planes too often, I think  :lol
A radiator hit does not make you lose coolant/oil, it only makes the engine heat up. Watch the thermometer.

1. Coolant levels are not represented by any gauges within AH.

2. I just checked, weights do change when you drop your DT/bomb in a 109G6.

Also 109 series had flaps effective up to 700km/h

Thats the word I was looking for when I posted this. It does not move to heat up or anything.

Del, try dropping a tank or a bomb wile in auto climb, you will get no diffrence in climb or speed. It may say it on the E6B, but it does not show it wile flying it.

You have a short delay before you start overheating.

Basically your system has to drain first, THEN the temps spike rapidly. I think there's a bit of a randomizer as to how quickly the radiator fluid drains away (sort of like oil leaks, gas leaks, pilot leaks).

Thats not what happens though, it reads the same temp., all the way up to losing the engine.
