A flight sim is SUPPOSED to have a manual as long as a novel. I miss the good ol' days of games like 1942: The Pacific Air War when you got not only the big hulkin' flight manual, but the big hulkin' guide to aircraft and combat tactics.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

You need three different pits? Use one pit, and tell her it's all the same game just different levels.

That's one I'm not getting. Besides being all about a helo (and I'm not too much into helos) It's simply too good for me. Don't get me wrong, I've seen that sim in motion and know how good it is. I've seen an english translation of the manual aswell. 60% of it it's dedicated to the different functions, buttons, etc the cockpit and frontal displays have. With so many features, buttons, functions, etc, it demands a HOTAS I don't own (and can't afford), and a time dedication I simply cannot devote right now.

Some five years ago a simulator like that, with a 350+ page manual would've meant heaven for me...but not now. Had it been about a plane I may have been interested.... but to re-learn flying a completely different creature (and learning all the fancy tech stuff in the meantime) will be a hard job taking too much time.

When any of it's expansions with a plane on it (I think they're doing an A-10 expansion) is out, I may join the club. But for now I'll stay well away from it. Took me long enough to learn how to properly fly a virtual plane...no need to do the same with an helicopter ;)

Well I had just started on one for the P51 since I fly it all the time in AHII and FSX it would be great except it will be setup for the P51. Now when I fly the F-16 in F4AF or FSX I want a different pit of course and I will start that project after the P51 pit is finished and now theres a heli program out!

# The 9-page Key Commands - Simulation Mode (396 kb)

56 page Quick start  :lol

Maybe it's in the in-game encyclopedia, but I find sad and odd that not a single page is dedicated to the history of the machine. Maybe because they should include possible uneasy truths at this level of detail? I don't know. If it's because it is not what the target buyer is interested in, it's a shame, and maybe a bad marketing decission, IMHO.
