Off topic, but it'd be nice if you were able to lock a CV from flight for a period of 10 minutes. You hate it when you and the squad are sitting in the guns pounding down a town, waiting to get close enough for LVTs and not flash the darbar, when 549063 ups a plane and flies directly over the field, thus ruining the plan.

To combat just that scenario you would only have to implement a cost in perks should said cv be sunk while you're in Command. To keep folks from putting the cv in harms way then jumping ship before it is sunk is a simple fix also. When you take Command of a cv group and then relinquish Command you are still responsible, perk wise, for the safety of the force for 15 minutes or until someone else moves or takes Command of the group.

This simple fix would also keep folks who are flying off the deck but in control of the cv from not paying attention to that cv as they fly.

I believe this would be the best solution for the problem!! Im not a coadr but i would think it would be easy to implement this since the perk system is already in play!   :aok

Spikes....... No can do.... you would then infringe on others fun. Some are looking for the fight not trying to sneak in anything.

Yeah, I remember a similar incident..About a yr ago in JAN..
LW Blue, Pretty new map at the time.. Small map, Brown one,
with water that kinda looks like the baltic sea.. Has GV spawns
across the water.. Can't remember what its called?

A pickup group of us, (6) did a long range NOE Knit port steal...
Right between the Bish and Nits.. (right under both their noses)..

Then sank the Knit CV with shore Batts, before the redguys
could get it out of range.. WOOO, They were PIZZED off, LOL!!!

Then came a hellacious 3way fight to keep the port until
the CV popped... We barely saved the port twice... Major
Knit GV/AIR attack to recap the port.. Also, Bish were trying
to horn in on the fight too, goin after the port.. It was a wild one...

When the CV finally came up.. Bish and Knit were both tryin
to clobber it.. Somehow w good shootin and lots of luck, we
skinnied it out of the hellhole.. Cruiser sunk, CV burnin... Leaving
the Bish and Knits fightin over the port.. We made it north into
the channel, heading east to safe territory.. Killing ord at all the
enemy bases along both coasts, to protect our prize..

We put out a tremendous effort, and were successful...
Then, just when we were ALMOST CLEAR of any threat!!!

Our Hero appears, and just swipes control of the CV away
from our guy.. Then points it right back into the Hornets nest..
Gets it sunk...

He had NOTHING to do with the fight to get the CV in the
first place, made NO contribution in the battle to keep it..

But he just TOOK it anyway, cuz his rank allowed him to...
Our HERO!!!

My blood still boils when I think about that...

What an idiot.  He's the only one in the game that's ever vox PM'd me swearing at me as a FRIENDLY!  He was upset that I wasn't shooting down the puffy ack at a strat factory with my Osti as he flew over.  Like you even can.

He went on and on for several minutes but I had the volume turned down because I was on the phone.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Well, he does pay his 15 bucks like the rest of us. Being a tool is not really grounds for kicking someone out of the game. The squelch option is always available. :salute

The squelch option does not prevent him from antics like this.

( as a sidenote, he is one i auto squelch the moment i enter the arena and find him there)

I pay my 15 bucks a month too, and i am sure myself and many others dont pay it to have our game experience disrupted by stuff like this he does.

This is not the first time tripl has done this Tildeath. Pondscum is the term. Usually, higher ranked pilots use good judgement in CV control but there is always PONDSCUM out there!

You did the exact same thing to DeMaskus Monday night on Rook Green text, he also put in green that you VERBALLY ABUSED HIM via PM vox.   Good thing you are calling yourself "pondscum".   The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.

You wouldn't know good judgment if it fell on you.

Squelch works. :)

When you squelch drdeathx (who is AAdeath in AH) or Tripl5, you are NOT fixing the problem.
