Ok try this for "what if"

Your a vet who has played the game for a long time.  You are a better stick then most you will run into.  You have won more 3 v1's then you even remember.  You are trying to "take a base" in a spit16 and kill 2 planes that are trying to stop your m3's (im guessing) and an il2 bails (the fact an il2 is involved tells me gvs were present).  The il2 bailing is a good thing because you get to keep ammo for future uppers....do you:

1.  Take the base and appreciate the free kill...
2.  Get annoyed that you dont get the satisfaction of finishing all 3 planes...but still take the base
3.  Run to the forums and start a thread about it....


No offense Lynx but who gives a crap???  Are you not feeling recognized enough lately because this is the second thread I remember you starting about "mean players" vs you???  Ltown is not a countryman or squaddie of mine so I can care less about him....

Just wondering what the point of this thread was and if most vets chose to start threads about smack talkers or silly players how would this forum be?

As a vet I prefer to land my kills and enjoy the game.  Because I'm a vet nothing suprises me and I realize all bets are off.  What is particularly silly about this thread is I don't see how his behavior "hurt you" or was "gamey".  Not really thread material imho...

My take on this issue is this you never know what some one else is going to do. It is what makes this game so good. It may suck that some one else won't do what you want but it is a variable that makes it interesting & keeps me coming back.

The IL2 is barely maneuverable, doesn't accelerate well, doesn't climb worth a damn, and the only real firepower it has is in the nose with the cannons. Most IL2's I have come acrossed and even when I fly them are on the deck which leaves you almost no option except trying to turn with him. Anything else will end in him catching you and shooting your tail off.

GHI didnt get your memo.  You better pass this info on to him asap.

I'm not sure what is worse, the fact he bailed on you to avoid a fight, or the fact a vet still flies a spit16.

If you don't know the difference maybe it's because you forgot to to TnB rather than hold alt and zoom the watermelon out everyone then scream blue murder when an equal alt con catches up with you.  Or maybe you forget that some don't dedicate themselves to one style of play (fighter mode) or use there perkies in F4u4's to look cool ....oh the irony.
