Nintendo DS Lite Recommendations?
« on: December 26, 2008, 07:33:07 PM »
In keeping with the objective to be somewhat familiar with various platforms, Santy delivered a Nintendo DS Lite.  What in the world do rip-roarin' Aces High sticks play on that itty bitty thingie?

Megaman Star Force, Spectrobes, Pokemon, Megaman ZX & ZX Advent, Metroid Prime Hunters, Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, The Minish Cap, and the New Super Mario Bros. are all great things to play while waiting for your plane at the airport. And don't forget the Internet browser cartridge so you can surf the web at airports too!

When I had one I had a few pokemon games. Yes "pokemon" . Get past that youre playing a pokemon game and its pretty good. Hundreds of hours of gameplay leveling up to fight people online.

You can go online in the Pokemon games? That's actually pretty cool.

My grandson has every one of those pokemon games for the DS Lite and the Gameboy Advance. He loves 'em.

Yea the DS has built in wi-fi. You can go online and battle or trade with the new DS pokemon games.

Both of my children (twins) have the DS game systems, and i have a quick question. I know they have wifi tech built in, but if they want to play say Star Wars the Clone Wars head to head, do they both need to have the game i.e. 2 game cartridges?

Oh yea, i love Mario Kart  lol

Star Wars lego and Batman lego are a must...at least for my 5 year old. He does that along with a farming game and one other. I like playing the new Clone Wars game that he got for Christmas as well.

my kids love the Super Mario games, they both have a DS and play "doubles" with each other...in fact they even shut up for a while. They also love the Nintendogs, but then again they are 7 and 5 year old girls. I have no Idea what anyone else plays.
