you sure about that?
Yep, look at the saturation on most pics. E.g. the red roofs.

Great post Lagger - couldn't have said it better myself.

Here's a vid he made right before he went on that trip - talking about the Cub.

To give you an idea of the kind of flying they were doing, this is the other Cub Shaun was flying with on the trip - he is a master with that thing.

Rediculous hover landing and takeoff on a mountainside, too cool.

I don't really see any red roofs, some of them do look kind of surreal so I'd believe it, heres what I was talking about with glacier run off, I've been to this glacier in norway, but I didn't take it, I finally found my pictures of the place and my scanner crapped out on me.

norwegian glaciers are world famous, whether you know it or not, Hardangerjokulen Glacier, another place I've been to was in the Empire Strikes Back, the snow covered planet, Lucas filmed it there, fun fact kids!

Don't get me wrong, the pics are great and there's no lens flare photoshops or anything, but the colors are obviously retouched.. Makes a nice impression but it's a bit too strong.

Well they look pretty awesome to me, touched up or not - nothing wrong with PS'ing pics, that's what it's for - but I see what you mean, those roofs have certainly been touched, heh.

gotcha those do look too bright, I didnt look on the site, only what was originally posted, you see what i meant though with the water, it's pretty insane to see in person, you don't quite believe it, and I have to say fresh glacier water is the best tasting water I've ever had.

The pictures were beautiful. I've been putting together a picture (print) wishlist.  There's been one spot really missing that has been driving me bonkers.  Seeing this thread made me realize what is supposed to go into that empty spot. <S> Thanks for sharing the very nice photos and for prompting me to realize what I need to finish my wishlist ~ it's a big help to me :)
