Heres my take on you clowns:Massive squads that depend on numbers and crappy tactics to get anything done. I've seen you guys use 4 or 5 sets of lancs and troops to take a V base. Stupid, gamey sportsmanship. I fought 2 rolling blunder guys the other night and they hoed every single pass until they were out of ammo.No skill whatsoever.Both you're squads will resort to any chitty tactic needed to achieve your goals.That is why you'll never be respected in this game, except by the warm bodys you recruit to do your bidding.You throw up these massive noe missions because you don't have what it takes to fight a good fight. You know it..that's why you do NOES. Most if not all of you, will not fight unless you're in a pack. I've seen some in your squads bomb and bail just to avoid a fight. But yet you pat yourselves on the back about how good you are . I don't speak for my squad but if it was up to me,I'd call both squads to the DA and collect your scalps. But I doubt you'd go for you know what the outcome would be.Just know this:I get extreme enjoyment everytime I kill anyone from either one of these squads. It's not the person but the concept of what you stand for is what I dislike.

This one really deserves a chuckle.

That's why I would like to see you come down from your alt. and not have a buddy to save you uptown, then we will see how fast the tables turn.

I know that Del is good, but in the MA he does everything to keep his adv. of about 4K or so.

Only real respect for any squad that I have, is for the Muppet's and the 80th. Muppet's and the 80th have the best all around people in the game, and I totally respect that. The other squads in that game have never really been good, and probably never will be any good.

Here is an idea.

I challenge both squads to spend one tour NOT doing a single NOE attack.

Attack the base with the largest nme dar bar, and keep attacking it untill you capture it.  (or at the least one that has a dar bar with more than a couple of nme planes.  It has to be be defended)

At the end of January we can compare how many field captures they have vs. December.

Would be a decent judge of how good they are at taking bases.

ANY two week noob in a hoard can capture undefended fields.  A true test is taking one that is defended.




(with the numbers ya'll typically put up for a base take, this should actually be a pretty simple thing to do)

We've done that Lute many many times.
As an example, in the small Pacific map about 6 camps ago we were having trouble taking 7. Nothing seemed to work and the Rooks were gaining an advantage. So we put up a bomber mission with fighter escort and went in at about 8k. It was mayhem getting there but most made it. We leveled the place and captured the base. I believe we took out about 3 262s and maybe more tempests to do it. Guess what! people hollered about that. It was the first time we used the term In-Your-Face to describe a mission. Since then we have employed it quite often and the bishops love it.

Speak for yourself. The Flying Circus has a blast just furballing and messing around. I can tell ya what, we'd hold our own vs any squad   You'd just never be able to tell because it's full of modest guys just wanting to have fun. Isn't that what this is about?

I've seen it first hand. I think it was last month, or maybe the month before that they strictly did their "In your face missions". A sight to see I must admit. For a while there, we got so intimidated that we quit upping and serendered our bases to them.

I'm actually glad these, and other, NOE horde squads exist. Every so often... maybe once a tour, I'm in the right place to bust one of these missions. I'm almost always alone and find myself 8k over a swarm of bad guys on the deck. I gleefully imagine their howls and lamentations as I shred their formations, sometimes killing 2 or 3 guys in a single pass of pony wrath. Only the dreaded killer "collision model"  can stop me from chalking up double digit kills in these situations.

I always sing in my head(I'm funny that way)

Bosco, I've flown with Del for 10+ years now, and he's followed me into any fight I jump into, which is any and every and as anyone can tell you, is low and slow.  Can he fly the 38J well?  Absolutely.  But I sure don't ever see him flying as you describe.    Guess he just flies that way when I'm not looking

Everytime I've seen Del on a SAPP night or something he's usually got 10+ red guys on him, with both engines leaking oil, two radiators gone, and a fuel leak in every tank. The only time I've seen him pick is when he's over an enemy base, in that case you'd be dumb not to pick, low and slow at an enemy base = bad. Not because you're low and slow, but because people up their spit 16s as soon as you shoot them down
