USC is not that great. they where up 31 - 7 at half time and only score 7 in the second half while PSU put up 17. and PSU coach not with the team on the sideline. if i was USC, i would be not talking so high and mighty after that game.
The game was effectively over after the 2nd quarter, at no time did Penn St. ever challenge the Trojans for the lead afterwards. USC rolled over Penn St., dominated them on the field. Sanchez was pretty much able to throw the ball to whomever he wished to at will.
Whether or not Paterno (sp?) was in the coach's box or the sidelines is a poor excuse for them losing. I stand with my original statement, the Big Ten is big on hype, short on skill.
Also, for the person that said the Pac-10 was the weakest conference, name one conference that went undefeated in bowl games this year other than the Pac-10...
