I guess you were wrong kiddo...

USC 38
Penn St. 24

3rd Straight Rose Bowl victory for USC.  Only thing the Big Ten showed today was that they are big in name only, not in skill.

Big Ten football play style works great during the regular season when they play conference games or push overs.  But when they go to the bowls and play the ACC, SEC, whatever....they can't compete.  Unless the adopt new play books, don't listen to the hype.  I'll leave it to the Big Ten to produce good NFL linemen (for the most part).

USC is not that great.  they where up 31 - 7 at half time and only score 7 in the second half while PSU put up 17.  and PSU coach not with the team on the sideline.  if i was USC, i would be not talking so high and mighty after that game.

The game was effectively over after the 2nd quarter, at no time did Penn St. ever challenge the Trojans for the lead afterwards.  USC rolled over Penn St., dominated them on the field.  Sanchez was pretty much able to throw the ball to whomever he wished to at will.

Whether or not Paterno (sp?) was in the coach's box or the sidelines is a poor excuse for them losing.  I stand with my original statement, the Big Ten is big on hype, short on skill.

Also, for the person that said the Pac-10 was the weakest conference, name one conference that went undefeated in bowl games this year other than the Pac-10...

I wouldn't say the "Big Ten is big on hype," since its the sports casters flabbing their jaw like there's no tomorrow.

They smacked Penn State the entire game. The only reason the score wasn't in the 50's to 60's was SC was shortening the game by going to a softer defense and using plays that burned more clock on offense.

They could have run the score up as high as they liked had they wanted to.

I wont say that Big Ten is the best either.  Yea, they are undefeated in the bowl game but with only one game that was the hardest, OU-OSU.  I am really surprise how SEC is doing so far.  I had the impression that they are the best conference.

Besides, a conference will have a its good years and bad years.  The past few years is the down times for Big Ten.

they soften there defense in the bowl game.  :huh  Not a good way to help your self to get a high ranking when you let a team put up 17 in the second half.

Give me a better reason why USC suck it up in the second half.

You need to learn to comprehend what you watch.

You do realize that they can not be ranked any higher than third no matter what the final score is,right?

Who honestly cares? I like football, but the only thing I've ever seen it do is inflate egos and start fights. I don't watch football, and when I do, I'm almost never motivated by it.

you're just upset because you're always picked last for a team.  get over it.
