The title of this thread is misleading and makes me hungry.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

If one is to say way to go then there must be a reason for doing so.

So.. is  the school any good?

University of Utah

they went undefeated in (american) football and beat the University of Alabama in the Sugar Bowl

it's a big deal because this is a college that isn't known for being good at football and Alabama is

does that clear things up foreigners?

That's a pretty good summary.  They put themselves on the map now I think.

Yea, just like Boise State did a few times in the past and they didn't get recognized. KU had more mediea attention and BCS favor.

I am skeptical too, but this is twice now Utah has gone to a BCS game and twice they have won.  There is mounting pressure to change the current Bowl setup.  The Mountain West Conference is getting stronger, and is slowly getting more recognition as a "real" football conference.  Unfortunately for Boise they are in the WAC, which is not that strong of a conference.  I'm not saying that Utah or the Mountain West Conference is the new powerhouse by any means, but they can no longer be looked down upon as a non-factor.  Personally I think the MWC is just as strong, if not stronger than the ACC, and look at what the Big10 did in bowl games this year 1-5?

yeah, Utah has to keep this up at least another season to really gain the respect of everyone, I think, so it's not just a fluke

they do also need to change their confrence if they indeed are as good as they seem to be
