Yea, just like Boise State did a few times in the past and they didn't get recognized. KU had more mediea attention and BCS favor.
I am skeptical too, but this is twice now Utah has gone to a BCS game and twice they have won. There is mounting pressure to change the current Bowl setup. The Mountain West Conference is getting stronger, and is slowly getting more recognition as a "real" football conference. Unfortunately for Boise they are in the WAC, which is not that strong of a conference. I'm not saying that Utah or the Mountain West Conference is the new powerhouse by any means, but they can no longer be looked down upon as a non-factor. Personally I think the MWC is just as strong, if not stronger than the ACC, and look at what the Big10 did in bowl games this year 1-5?
