I only watched the last 6 minutes of the game, did they have 35 analysts on the field doing stupid reports?  Like, the one I saw in pre-grame for the Cotton bowl and this female* reporter asked Ole Miss's or Texas Tech's (don't remember who) QB and WR who had more Facebook friends.  WHO THE F@#$ CARES, THIS IS FOOTBALL.

*Not being sexist, but that reports had no business or experience in sports before, obviously.  And if she did, she's there only as a pretty face apparently.

Sideline reporter questions come from the producer in the truck screaming in their ear. I use to work NFL games for the networks when i was in high school and got to sit in the booth with the game announcers and in the truck before for NBC, CBS and Fox. I don't know how those guys live past 50 they way they blow up on each other.

But what your talking about was a studio interview, they want more than just football questions for those. Got to look at who they're talking to, 18-21 YO kids.

I would imagine the demographic for the Bowl games is much more 24-40 year olds than college students.  There's a lot more alumni and fans than current students.

I think that'd depend on the school actually.  Like CMU (Central Michigan University) the stands are always 100% full, its ridiculous.
forecast for tonight is alcohol, low standards and poor decisions

Not if that's the only decent entertainment in town. Plus they may not be selling the tickets to watch the home team play...

I blead burnt orange and enjoyed the game. I still think Greg Davis should be a high school coach and not the offence coach for one of the largest football programs in the country.

Really cool to see my friends at the game. They were sitting on the 30 yard line with his grand parents and had a nice 5 seconds nation TV spot light close up.
