I only watched the last 6 minutes of the game, did they have 35 analysts on the field doing stupid reports? Like, the one I saw in pre-grame for the Cotton bowl and this female* reporter asked Ole Miss's or Texas Tech's (don't remember who) QB and WR who had more Facebook friends. WHO THE F@#$ CARES, THIS IS FOOTBALL.
*Not being sexist, but that reports had no business or experience in sports before, obviously. And if she did, she's there only as a pretty face apparently.
Sideline reporter questions come from the producer in the truck screaming in their ear. I use to work NFL games for the networks when i was in high school and got to sit in the booth with the game announcers and in the truck before for NBC, CBS and Fox. I don't know how those guys live past 50 they way they blow up on each other.
But what your talking about was a studio interview, they want more than just football questions for those. Got to look at who they're talking to, 18-21 YO kids.
