My point was the real 'default' paint on Panzers wasn't green.   The 'default' on Shermans and T-34s was green.

rgr Guppy35.....I see your point.....

If you could move a slider in the graphics section of clip board... to make your computer run better..... and not only did that ,but made all the other planes visable from  10k out it would give you a desicive advantage....  I would only be able to see u 5k out you get to see me 10k out.... it not really fair in my opinion..... I dont care if in reall life a guy with 20/20 vision could or could not see that far......... In game it would be gamey to say the least.....that what we have with the tank colors....... We have the option to take a green camo tank out but HEy  too bad suucker  ill just change it on my end........

and i believe, but not sure, but from looking at the settings... You can select  a green camo foryourself and still disable the other guys camo....so you will show up in green camo on his end...and he will show up in orange/tan.  on your end even though you get to keep your green camo..even gamier  ......its just a guess  it would take two guys or two gals  or one guy and one gal or one guy or one gal with two computers and test the settings to see for sure.....

i am not going to read thru all of these post.

turning skins off does not mean only your enemy skins get turned off. the person that turns it off also loses all his/her skins as well. they drive default skins as well. no gaming the game here folks.

if you dont like it change your default skin its really easy to do. if you are not sure how to try asking in the tech support forums

Wow... not even close...

Now, im 99.999% sure turning off skins only turns it off for the OTHERS. YOUR skin still displays. Theres a microscopic chance im wrong there, but if need be Ill go test it.

Changing your default skin doesn't do jack **** to fix the problem, because that only changes how the default displays on your end. To your enemy youre still bright orange.

So perhaps next time you WILL read through these posts, so as not to contribute what may well be the most pointless post to the thread.

I believe disabling skins disables your ability to see skins other than the default.  You can still choose a skin.  To you, it will look like the default skin.  To others, it will look like the skin you chose.  (I think).

The simple and compromising fix would be to make one of the darker Panzer/Tiger skins the default.

I cannot fathom how this would be hard to do, in any way~VonMessa

Hey, what can I say, I have a particular dislike for idiots who feel the need to have a say in EVERYTHING without bothering to figure out just what it is they are trying to have a say in. Now, if you take the time to go back and READ the posts, you will see that what I say in my posts is in no way lacking support. And by the way, i'm not the youngest one here. You just like to think that so when you so often get stuck realizing you're WRONG it gives you something to shout when you can think of no other response. Keep tryin  :aok

Ah, but how deceptive simple words taken out of context can be. Lets break this down properly.

i am not going to read thru all of these post.

Spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization aside, you're just being lazy. If you want to provide some input so very much, take the time to at least read what others have said. If you don't bother to research the topic itself, we can assume you havn't researched it's solutions. This is proved by the solutions you offer.

turning skins off does not mean only your enemy skins get turned off. the person that turns it off also loses all his/her skins as well. they drive default skins as well. no gaming the game here folks.

This MAY be considered decent contribution. Other than the fat that: It DOES mean only your enemy skins get turned off. The person who turns it off DOESN'T lose their skins as well. They DON'T necessarily drive the default skin, and YES, taking advantage of a system setting to expose an enemy in a way which no amount of skill or effort on their part may remedy IS quite gamey.

if you dont like it change your default skin its really easy to do. if you are not sure how to try asking in the tech support forums

This is where you go downhill and obviously do not grasp the issue at hand. What possible bearing does changing what YOU see on your FE have toward fixing this. If you were to change your default to be a green scheme that would further unbalance things because if you disable your skins in return to leave them equally exposed, they have the same green on your end that is bright orange to them.

So, next time, before you pick out a few random sentences that, out of context, make things appear to support you, remember: There are a******s like me who WILL take the time to break things down properly.

P.S.: Internet tough-guy: You just got pwned by "the youngest one here"  :aok
