I wonder if it is possible that we can get a 'Hit Info' when we are shot down, or manage to land a damaged plane on ground. I've heard of stories of people counting the holes, and even figuring out what kind of ammunition hit where..(such as those 100+ holes on Johnson's P-47

)...
and if this feature is available after one is shot down and returned to the tower, or if one lands the plane in AH(the point where the 'TOWER' button is activated), it could clear up a LOT of things like lag issues, rubber-bullet phenomenon, Hispano whines, .50 whines and etc etc.
There are many guesses floating around and none of them are confirmed, especially with things such as buff gunnery of gripes about .50 rounds. If we can get a detailed info, much like the way we can get a 'Score info', it would help very much.
For instance, I've been damaged heavily, my 190 engine has been clobbered, but heard only 1 ping. I am suspicious. I land my plane, bring up the 'Hit info' and it could say:
*Kweassa - Fw-190D9, landed succesfully
*Damage: Right Elevator, Engine Oil, Radiator, Engine, Main Fuel
*Total: 17 Rounds hit
13 Rounds - M2(.50)
4 Rounds - Hispano MkII(20mm)
Detailed:
7 Rounds hit on Fuselage - M2(.50)
4 Rounds hit on Right Elevator - M2(.50)
2 Rounds hit on Engine - M2(.50)
1 Round hit on Engine Oil - Hispano MkII(20mm)
1 Round hit on Radiator - Hispano MkII(20mm)
..
and after seeing this I go "Hmm.. I heard only one ping.. but seems been hit 17 rounds actually.. looks like some hits to the fuselage triggered the fuel leak.. 2 rounds that directly hit the engine itself.. each 20mm knocked the oils and radiators, huh? Oh well..."

..
The data for damage modelling just directly used and translated into info screen.. it wouldn't be too hard, would it? I really think this would be a helpful feature

Maybe people going around boasting, showing off their screenshots to the hit they have taken and survived.."Hey, My P-47 took 96 hits and survived!

"
...
Any reply is much welcome
