Missions in the LW arenas

Shreck this sounds like an awesome idea i would love to participate.
Anything i can do to help i would be more than glad to do.
You know how to get me some of the guys in my squad still have some people in different countries they can contact to help fill the other end.
Bish love missions so i don't see that as a real problem.
I would like it if you try this again tonight this could be great.
Especially if all involved stick to the rules and noone ends up gettting jumped.

While I agree with what you are saying here, however if you are not honest and then they find out that was not the point you might get even less participation in the future. My point was more about being honest than it was about making non-base taking missions.

To be quite honest the Unforgiven made up easily 2/3 of the commitment   but I see signs of great interest.

I'd be more than willing to help get the other side put together shreck.  My schedule ivery irratic though I'd need to know a few days in advance when you guys want to run it.

This idea is just intended to add a little zest to what is otherwise the "same ol same ol" of an average night in the LW arenas.
I do not want this to be some grand planning and herding exercise to be worked out over a few days! <--that will never work!
My vision here is simple, At any given time anyone can contact an adversary oin another country, set up missions to include plane set, altitude, time and location, then anounce over 200 something like this------------> "historic mission" rooks 109s, bish spits in 15 minutes. <-- giving all ample time to finnish what they got goin and join up.
Some simple rules would have to be adhered to:

#1- players must join mission, this is to control plane type and #s
#2-NO HO on initial merge
#3-the fight is to the death, untill one side is wiped out. If you are one of the last survivers and are being ganged by 20 cons, well too bad please do not complain.
#4- participants must ridicule "to the NTH degree" any friendly not following guidelines
#5- the location must be at a place where it would take too long for uppers to get involved before the contest is decided. In other words I would like to see these matches from start to finnish over in no more than 30 minutes.
Remember it's just a slugfest tween historical adversaries of the past!
#6- I would say no more than 2 plane models per country at a time, example= ki61s, a6m5 vs f4u-1 and fm2,  you get the picture 

Last but not least, RIDICULE RIDICULE RIDICULE any interlopers INTENSIVELY

But but but Steve, was that the stuka mission that you came over to Bish to put up? The one I called a Leroy Jenkins type of mission. I think my only advice was that you put it up as a rooks mission. I'm just sure that many Rooks would love a mission like that. If that should be the case just let us bish know when you run it and to where. However, I just got the feeling that maybe just maybe you were baiting Bish.

Shrek, I would have to bet that if you wanted to do something like this, on a weekend night (11pm ESTish) I could get the Pigs to fly against your side if you wanted to.  It sounds like a real hoot.  Give me a PM and ill do what I can to help set one up from the knights side.

 Shrek its a capitol idea I must say and it sounds like alot of fun . And its a good distraction from being out numbered or on a losing side or boredom . I would definitely participate if one of these shows up .

These "missions" as you call them are atrocities and the leader should be hung, you arnt helping win the war and therefor are just wasting resources. A NOE 110/niki/la7/spit16 mission to an undefended backline base would of been more effective and you should strive to do so next time.
